Hello everyone I picked up a 75 Ford elite about 6 weeks ago. I've been lurking around the forum picking up new ideas and doing some projects on my car.. I now know the motorcraft 2150 model pretty well. I'll be dwelling into the choke adjustment soon.   For now I've downloaded the 74 to 76 electrical schematics so I can the darn power seat to move back. Also I gotta check out the dashwiring yeah low - lights.. Well just want to introduce myself to myself.-Phil
Oh, what is the Elite symbol meaning?   To me it looks like 3 lions sitting on their tails and a 3 point Crown

Me again.  I was posting from my phone and cannot see worth a jack on it, hence the poor grammar.  Cheers, Phil

Thanks.   If I have time this weekend I'm gonna make a yt video on restoring the elite wire hubcaps.
I've got to say there is not a lot of info on restoring these torinos.  Hoping that'll change.   I never even considered a Torino let alone a Ford until I saw my car sitting next to a barn. Those opera windows brought back memories.   So unique and the ride is fantastic.  I've got to add 2 that the 400 motor has pretty good gas mileage.

The Elites are so often overlooked.  They have a lot of potential and really  nice lines. Good luck and welcome.

Welcome to the forum! I have upgraded you and you now have full forum privileges. As for the lions, it is from the Ford crest first released in 1950. Here is an article that gives some history on it.

They missed the point with the three cats.
Little old ladies like cats, three cats is more than two or one, so the cars should be loved by Grey-haired biddies/spinsters.

Thanks Johnny.  Those cars you have listed.  Are those ones you have owned at one time or another or currently in your possession?  If currently yours then you must be one smooth son of gun, single or have the best woman ever.  I mean my ex would complain about one Pontiac I owned since I was 17, non stop. Then i brought home a Grand Wagoneer.  She almost soiled herself.  I'm not the only guy I know like that.

"Divorced"
Sheesh...
Divorced is for amateurs who can't get their hands on a backhoe...
LOL
Do you know why divorces are SO expensive?
Because they're WORTH IT!!!

(Disclaimer: happily married for 32 years, and wife is NOT missing...yet LOL)
