Hey guys.  I hope this site is better than some of the others.  I have a 1971 Torino 500, 302 that is all original.  Aquired her last summer from the proverbial "little old lady".  One owner, Florida car that was garage kept.  103K original pampered miles.  Runs great.  I really can't say enought about how well this car has been perserved.  Anyway.

Started having issues with the car not cranking.  New battery.  New battery cables. New soloinoid between battery and voltage regulator.  New voltage regulator.  Would crank.  Run great. Then later would not crank.  So replaced all listed. Not getting current to engine.

It has the original fuesable links.  If I replce the wiring from ignitian to solinoid... what do I need to replace the fuseable link with.  Any ideas of amperage or fuse size?  Would an in-line fuse work best?  Any help would be great.

Now I have lost headlights, radio, etc.  Checked fuses...OK.  This is driving me mad!

that car is way to clean for changing harnesses .at the back of the engine by trans dipstick should a ground cable to the firewall clean the connections. also get dielectric grease and apply it as you get a chance to all your plug connections / light bulb connections /and fastened connections. besides you having a simple ground problem your starter may not last long if original. your battery grounds with a large cable to the engine for the high amps of a starter the thin flat braided cable at back of engine grounds the body for lights/radio/heater motor/etc.
