Hello everyone, I just picked up a 76 Gran Torino. It is in pretty good shape, mechanically it is mostly original except the 351 has a 4V carb installed, and it has glasspacks. It was originally white and the previous owner made it two tone white and blue. It has a few dings and dents but overall it looks pretty good for its age. I have several older cars but this is my first classic Ford. I have not been able to find many parts for it. Is there not much reproduced for these? The previous owner installed racing seats, which I want to remove. I have the stock front bench but it would need some work. It's a column shift and it has the split bench. I don't see the point of getting buckets and a console without having a floor shifter, but a center armrest would be nice. Did they have a bench with armrest as an option? Lastly, the seatbelts are gone. I would like to install a modern 3 point. Has anyone gone this route? Thanks for having me! Dirk

Thanks!

I found this picture on one of the Facebook groups today. If that center section comes down then it would work. The blue seat came with the car. Luckily the rest of the interior is in much better shape.

Welcome Dino!  I upgraded you to a new member so you have full forum privileges.  Reproduction parts are out there for '72 to '76 Torinos, but are much more limited than say a Mustang, Camaro, Charger, etc...  We have a lot of knowledge and info here to help you find what you need. Post any questions you have in the appropriate section.

Welcome to the forum.
For seat options,  the following list will help. These are direct bolt in as the cars are basically all the same
1972 - 1976 Torino all versions
1974 - 1977 Mercury Cougar, Montego
1977 - 1978 Ford LTD-II
1976- 1978 Ford Thunderbird
There are others that will fit with a little bit of work. The ones that I have listed are a definite fit.

Thank you! I am picking up this interior from a 76 Granada. I'm sure I can fit the front bench, and I hope I can fit the matching rear with some tweaking.
