Hi,
My name is Ed and I live in Cooperstown NY. I just joined because I bought a 69 R code Cobra today. Didn't get it yet but it is black jade, numbers matching with factory AC. I look forward to discussing things with all of you! I notice the 69 shop manuals don't say Torino on the cover. Is there a different shop manual for Cobras? Thanks

No.  It's covered under Fairlane sections in the shop manuals.  Let's see that Cobra!  I have Black Jade '69 as well.  351W Formal roof GT.

Nice car! I will take pics and post when I get it. I need to buy the shop manuals (looks like there are five) and the owners manual.

Welcome Ed!  I apologize for the delay.  I moved your post to it's own thread.  You have been upgraded to a new member now and have full forum privileges.  You will be able to post pics.  We'd love to see your '69 R-code and hear more details about it.

Thank you! I am thrilled to be here! Just ordered set of 5 shop manuals and some other literature on Ebay. I should have the car by next week I will post pics after I get it. If I need parts, where is the best place to go? I assume there might be a few. Thanks again, Ed
Thanks,Ed
