New Member, I owned a 1973 Torino, when I was 18 years old and always liked Fords. Now I own a 1972 Gran Torino Sport Roof. Original color was yellow and the interior is the "Ginger" color. Car was saved from a salvage yard before it was unloaded from the flatbed. I have owned this car for at least ten years. When I disassembled the car everything was bagged, tagged and labeled. Currently I have about 95% of the parts to reassemble and paint. Looking for a good rear bumper. Daily driver quality.
Here is where the project currently stands: Body was removed from the frame placed on a rotisserie and floor pans repaired. Bottom was painted with black POR-15. All suspension was replaced including coil springs. All Body bushings were also replaced. Trunk Floor replaced. Finally this summer plans are to get the motor and trans redone. |
