Hi all. New here. I'm enjoying looking around and checking out the threads and info here. I have the Torinos listed in my signature plus a bunch of Mustangs. The two 71's are projects but the Ranchero GT has a rebuilt engine, new interior and runs and drives. My 70 Cobra is still needing some things done but runs and drives (sort of) with a fresh paint job and roller engine. Still tuning on the engine..... I think I need better ignition or carburation....
or both!

Welcome to the site.
As Kevin of Junkyard digs mentions many a time, do the basics and you'll be amazed how well simple tuning will help things run. A lot of factors...but feel free to post up in the project section. A lot of folks here should be able to help, just always remember before you want to start tossing wrenches, set the tools down and take a break with a frosty cold beverage of choice
and come back in a day or three. |

Welcome! Can't wait to see pics of your fleet. You really like the 429, I can tell.
Where and when I grew up, the closest city had a shop which would buy new 429 Police Interceptor long blocks, back when they were still available from Ford, and put them in dentside pickups. A guy in my town who was a few years older than I had one. One night he did a burnout from a stoplight an entire block long...before realizing the town cop was right behind him.
