Newbie From LaFargeville, NY (1000 Islands) on the Canadian Border. Had a 1969 Ford Torino Cobra, R code 428 literally fall on my lap 2 days ago and I had to purchase it. Waiting on the vin# to come back as I couldn't locate the plate. I'm comfortable knowing it is all correct, looking more for confirmation on axle ratio, tranny, and paint color as it was a one owner car, literally a barn find. It had been totally stripped about 15 years ago in anticipation of a restoration, but obviously never happened. Everything looks to be there, but obviously I will be flying with blinders on putting it back together. (Wiring harness re-install is already giving me night mares!) Great to be here and will be cruising around and asking many questions. Been around the block in my lifetime with restores, but every one is a new challenge.

welcome! a buddy here local to me has a 69 fastback 428CJ car he recently lost the engine last summer so he had a 442 stroker built for it and i saw it in and driving sat before last
