Hello Everyone,
Excited to be a new member of the club. My wife (Angela) and myself (Sav)are from Toronto, Canada. My wife's dream car and you guessed it, a 76 Gran Torino, has finally landed in our laps. I've been secretly searching, on and off, for the last ten years and finally come across this barn find. 1976 Gran Torino, 36,000 miles on it with all the original hub caps and believe or not, the cigarette lighter. No cracks in the dashboard, interior door panels intact and the upholstery had only one small rip on the seat. You could say the interior is mint. Nevertheless; due to my overall excitement, I took only a quick peak at the underneath of the car. Trailer the vehicle to the shop, up on the hoist and noticed the back end frame is soft. So my journey begins. Do I regret buying the car. Not at all! We are very excited to be part of the Torino famiglia. I'm hoping with help from the experts, to bring this car back to life and enjoy it for many many more years to come. Greatly appreciate any suggestions any time. Sav & Angela |

Welcome aboard! I have upgraded you to a new member so you have full forum privileges. Post some pictures of your '76 when you get a chance. What engine does it have? Nice to see another fellow Ontarian on here. By your name and the use of "famiglia" , I am also thinking you are of Italian background (my dad was born in Italy).
