Picture request: Blue laser stripe

Here's a chart showing what lazer stripes you could get with which paint option.

blue may not have been a factory option but thge laser stripes are aftermarket now and you can put on what you like and personally think that blue laser stripe on Light Pewter metallic wouold look good and a heck of alot better then brown laser stripe which was a factory option on that color,yuck    
I answered this on your progress thread but factory center body side moldings had metal studs welded on the body for plastic clips to hold the moldings on so if your car does not have studs and rather 1/8 in holes then at some point someone installed the metal aftermarket molding which where pop riveted on hence holes instead of metal studs.
I believe the doors may have had holes at either end which a screw secured the ends of that center molding from the back side but the quarters,center of door and fenders had the metal studs for the plastic slide on cips of it came factory.

Not only did the widelower molding cars come with that center bodyside molding but the base model Torino's only had that thin center bodyside molding. I had a 73 base model and had to grind down the studs on the quarters from the moldings,as I installed a 74 front clip and doors off a Ranchero so it had no moldings or studs for me to remove but I do know that the factory installed moldings all had studs welded on, if not it was aftermarket and would mig weld the holes shut
