Does anyone know how to remove the steering column cover on a 71 Torino? I can't find any screws and it looks like it should just snap apart at the bottom. I'm thinking that there might be a screw at the bottom that i'll need the steering wheel off to get to. Just like any old car, I don't want to pull on it in fear that it'll break. Thanks

not sure how the 71 is, but on my 74 it has 2 screws and it slides away from each other tricky to separate without breaking the pegs facing toward the firewall. maybe someone else may know more about the 70 - 71
