Having problems with my RPMs dropping down when I put my car in gear any help any idea it has a 302 boss in it

Gene, you might have better luck posting your inquiry in either the small block or 72 - 76 Ford forums.

how much drop in RPMs? normally an auto trans will drop a couple hundred when placed in gear. does it die or almost die? how high are the RPMs at idle?
