so I recently put a bearing kit in for the pedals. What I did was cut the bushing off as close as I could to the pedal bracket. I then used a ball peen hammer and knocked the inside portion out. I retained the inside portion as i used it to align the bearing and housing. I put the shaft through to keep both the inner bushing and bearing centered while I tacked the bearing housing down. Repeat the same process for the other side. I Used TIG to weld it in but shouldn't be too hard to use MIG. Keep in mind it's a thin metal and overheating it will tend to warp the metal so take your time. I picked up the bearing kit from mustang steves online. It also comes with instructions on how to do it.

Airborne All the way!!!
