There's been discussion of 72 vs 73 hoods before.  Well, I now have a 72 Montego hood in my possession, so I figured I'd show some pics of the differences in the latch area.  Check out the below pics.  '72 hood is on the left (brown).  '73 hood is on the right (gold).

so that was for the inside hood release , that was a big deal back then . lock up your camel and all .

jeff are the center point of the nose a little longer like the torinos are when compared 72 vs 73?
what about the front width of the body lines 72 vs 73???

No, they are identical when it comes to fitment, dimensions, etc.

wow, mine doesnt have the hood pop up spring attached.....which explains having to resort using a screwdriver after i pulled cable....does anyone have one for sale? pm please. thanks
