I am amazed with the piles of documentation and records I received when I purchased my 1970 Torino. The original owner was intent on documenting everything associated with the car. He kept a record of every gas fill from day one to the car sold. He kept a hand written record of every service issue and item purchased for the car. Amazingly, the receipts for all of it are in numerous folders. I have the loan/security documents, the original car order form, the warranty cards, two build sheets, and the list goes on and on. He even documented the car tire tread depths for years. I took a few pictures to show some examples of the documentation. It will take me weeks to sort through the folders. I also have pictures taken on the first day the original owner took delivery. I have never found this much documentation associated with one car in all the years I have owned Ford Torinos. I even found a bible tucked in the paperwork. I guess the original owner had great taste in cars and great faith - not a bad combination of traits if you ask me.            ------------- Ken |

I can't image the time it took to keep such records and record everything about the car. I have spent more time with the paperwork than I have spent driving the car. It tells such a great story. ------------- Ken |

| something to do with the depression,my father use to keep tract the same way on his cars and the house down to no of nails used. It's fun to look at some of his journals and see how upset he was when fuel oil went from 15 to 18 cents a gallon |
