I've got a pristine passenger compartment floor in a '73 donor Montego. I DO NOT have a project car for the floor so I'm simply saving a much as possible not knowing what I might need later. I've never removed a floor before and currently plan to do the following:

1. Remove the entire floor saving as much material as possible yet allowing the part to fall below the body once cut free. I don't know yet if this is possible.Question
2. Plan to use a sawzall, with an angle grinder at the ready.
3. Plan to find a cut line high up along the sides but inside the line of the frame so it can drop clear.

Any words of wisdom are much appreciated!!!

cut along the top edge of the rockers between the seatbelt bracket and edge of the seat brace edge, the corners can be a pain due to multi layers coming together...
