I have a 69 cobra r code Sports Roof.  What constitutes having the fake vent trim behind the quarter window?  I have a stripped car, I have sets of the trim but there is no holes in the car to mount them?  Was it an option, was it only for the GT?  I have a lot of "extra parts" along with the original parts and thought maybe they just kept them and intended to install them.  I was to go as close to original as I can and don't really want to drill holes in the body, especially if they weren't there to begin with.  Doesn't appear to be any filled in holes either.

All sportsroofs/fastbacks had them.  Not an option.  68's had 5, 69's had 3
