So welding is not my Forte. I've been stripping my car and almost all was perfect until one area I ran into a huge mass of bondo. The odd thing is it looks like the repair was straight as an arrow underneath, so no clue what they were thinking. Anyway, I have a ridge that needs to be ground down and wanted opinions. Given where they tacked it, I don't want to remove the bond. Every repair I've seen is welded at the top of the seams. So would it make sense to re tack the top and grind down from there to fix this? Seemed like the right approach but a bit lost. Thanks as always!
