Good Afternoon,

Does anyone know the make/model of the OE Carb for the '69 Torino M-Code 351W? I just picked this car up and want to see if I can rebuild the carb, but struggling to find rebuild kits without exact part numbers from the carb.

Note: I've ordered some parts books/manuals, but they wont be here for another week and i already pulled the carb.

thanks!

Welcome!  I can look the specific carb later, but I believe it was an Autolite 4300.  This page shows some original carbs for a '69 Cougar 351W, which would be similar to the carb used on a Torino.

Thanks, I will take a look at the numbers on the carb body to see if they match this site. I believe i can rebuild it, but just needed the right lead for a parts kit.

Hey guys, so it is an old autolite 4300, i was able to snag a rebuild kit from o'reilly, but there's one part I cant seem to get my hands on. On the passenger side of the carb, see photo attached, the plastic piece completely disintegrated after removal. Any idea what that part is called and where I could get one?

not sure what that part is called but check with the site below for availability.  The guy posts rebuild videos on YouTube and may have cores available with that part.

If it is made to come apart, try to have one made with a 3D printer. That would be a perfect use for a 3D printer, small, not high strength, and doesn't have to be pretty.
