I have always wanted another 1969 Torino GT. I am retiring in March 2026, and I started thinking that I should try to find one. That's exactly what I did. It's going to take some time and effort, but the bones are good, along with that it's an original 390S cope 4 speed still the original color. I'll get some photos on here once I figure out how.

Just reaching out. I'm an older guy that used to wrench on my own cars and now my son is helping with this one. The car is solid but has some problems. How do I post for suggestions? Right now, we pulled the trans to replace the clutch, I really don't know how we made it 850 miles. The bell housing bolts came out with some effort, but they weren't terrible. The starter is killing us. Do we need to lift or pull the engine to remove the starter?

2 bolts and the battery cable nut should let the starter wiggle out no problem,

unless it has headers on it?

And it does. Long tube. I see 3 bolts from the back side and the head of the bolt on the center one is hidden by the header.
