I am in Canada and having a hell of a time finding rotors and pads for this car. It is a 73 Station wagon with the 6.6L/400cid engine. Rockauto only has some off brand rotors and pads. I am hoping for some Raybestos or something name brand that I can fined to fit.
Thank you.

What size rotors does your car have now? Are they 10.72" or 11.72"? If you aren't sure, measure them and report back.

They are under 11”. So the 10.72mm rotors

That's good, then they should be 5x4.5" pattern, normal Ford pattern wheels. The 5x5" wheels are rare in anything people like, stock big Ford cars and those OEM wheels.

Ok, I figured your car had the small rotors but it always pays to double check. The only other hitch is that MOST 1973 Torinos use the small front wheel bearings. It might be worthwhile to check your bearing size before you order the rotors. Here is a thread that details the differences:

In any case, Rockauto has some Raybestos 6026R rotors available. They also have some dynamic fricetion rotors. I picked up a spare set of Raybestos last year when they were in short supply to have as spares and they are fine. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,1973,gran+torino,6.6l+400cid+v8,1129171,brake+&+wheel+hub,rotor,1896" rel="nofollow - https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,1973,gran+torino,6.6l+400cid+v8,1129171,brake+&+wheel+hub,rotor,1896" rel="nofollow - https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,1973,gran+torino,6.6l+400cid+v8,1129171,brake+&+wheel+hub,rotor,1896

I bought a pair of AC Delco rotors from Summit back when everything else at Rock Auto was out of stock. They work fine. My car is a 1972 wagon (August 1972 build). If your 1973 has the small bearings like in 1972, it would be a good option.
They're still available here: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ado-18a1348a/make/ford" rel="nofollow - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ado-18a1348a/make/ford
The AC Delco part number is 19307032, if that helps with your search.
Does Rock Auto have a different inventory in Canada than the U.S.?
It's kind of funny how I have a Ford but have had good luck with so many AC Delco (GM) parts on it -- rotors, 3G alternator, PMGR starter, etc.

What brake pads did you use with the Delco rotors?

There are lots of options for brake pads for our cars.
Here are Rock Autos listings:

Here are Summit Racings:

Rock Auto has a Raybestos Truck Metallic pad which should work well with the heavy wagon. Summit has the Element 3 pads by Raybestos, which are good (I have used them in other applications). Both vendors have some high performance pad options too at higher prices, such as Hawk, EBC and powerstop.

I used Centric 10400501, which Rock Auto doesn't have listed anymore. (I bought a bit over two years ago.)

Oh, almost forgot to mention: when at Rock Auto, search for parts for Torino instead of Gran Torino. For some reason, some of the parts only show up that way.

So I ordered the Raybestos from Rockauto. Also ordered the truck pads and wheel seals. Rockauto contaced me and said there are no rotors available. They did not show the proper ones at all for my vehicle 10.73”. So i put the number in a search and it was Summit that had the proper ones plus the AC Delco ones. So I have now ordered the Delco ones to come to Canada.
Thanks for the help.

Rayobestos still makes a fair amount of hardware for our cars thankfully.
Make sure you look over the brake hoses while you are at it, and check the caliper slides and retaining hardware. Only use hand tools on the flat head bolts for the caliper slides. Never hit with power/air tools as you can shear off the heads. Ask me how I know!
