Hello,
I have a 71 M code torino with the following specs:
Ram air shaker!
71 M code heads closed chamber, 64cc after milling .020, flowed from .500-.700

.500
270/168
.550
279/174
.600
284/181
Flat tops(1.5cc relief), 4.04 bore, .020 in the hole, .041 gasket, and I should be at roughly 10.6:1 compression. Performer intake, Elgin cam(old flat tappet grind): .512/.538 lift, duration @ .050(advertised): 214(292)/224(302), 112 LSA, 108 ICL. 670 Holley, sanderson FC4 headers (shorties with 1 7/8" tubes, 3" collectors), 2 1/2" X pipe with flowmasters and tailpipes,  4 speed with 3.70 gears currently.

My problem is the performer and the shaker, is there anyway to make a performer rpm air gap clear without modifying the original shaker? I would love to use one as the performer chokes my setup, I would prefer not to modify the original assembly. It does sit slightly inside the hood in the rear currently.Sleepy
