I have a 73 Torino and have a Shaker Scoop from a 1970 Mustang. What do you guys think? Will it work? Should I do it? Let me know.

there are 2 different height bases depending upon engine big block vs small block, do you know which you have and have you tried test fitting the base as a mock-up yet? the base for the big block in a small block car allows for a taller aftermarket intake manifold or carb spacers that are a deal breaker otherwise. some pics here, about 1/2 way down the page https://www.fordramair.com/new/info/gallery/customers_cars.htm" rel="nofollow - http://www.fordramair.com/new/info/gallery/customers_cars.htm

Thank you for the response Rockatansky. Don't have the motor in yet but it's a SB 351C. The pictures are great so I guess YES it can be done. I like it a lot. I think I'm going to do it. It's either that or graft a 72 hood scoop. That was my plan all along until the shaker idea hit me. I like the look a lot. Thanks so much for the pictures. That Boss 9 Torino is outrageous. That's what a little money and ingenuity can accomplish.
