Was checking it out for Ammeter idea's. rest is all working good on the swap here. I read 1 wire on alt B+ and 1 on bat side of starter soloniod but posts say it is too sensitive so toying with the idea of adding a ballast type resistor in series with the loop to somewhat desensitize the reading. I have the full wire looms from the donor car but amp wiring goes into the main loom and did not feel like peeling the whole thing apart to see how it is wired.  Sure someone here has a better idea.

I totally removed the ammeter and had it converted to a voltmeter.

New link works great. I had the wiring harness from the donor t bird and  checked out its wiring. Ammeter has the block like posted and a 36" piece of 10 gauge wire with 2 14 Gauge fusible links on each end. Connected the clusters clock power and ground to to clock power from larger clock the basic dash assembly had. Cut and put 2 bell caps on the old clocks 2 illumination lights. After this just had 4 wires left in the loom to the engine compartment ( Tach and Ammeter).  Got everything working great this afternoon. Now one note. Before you put it all together move the right and lower metal body dash mounting nuts to the correct spot... Went to screw the cluster in and nothing for the screws to catch on........
