Now that I am using my 97 Dodge Dakota to haul a car trailer occasionally...
I am looking to add another fan to put the added air flow over the Heavy Duty Tranny Cooler, A/C condenser and radiator.

Will this fan pull more air than running down the road?
Leaving the stock motor mounted fan just add this one motor side of the radiator(puller) inside the fan shroud. Put it on a toggle switch through a solenoid. I can turn it on when hauling the trailer and during HIGH heat conditions.

WILL it pull more and make a difference?

A "Pusher" electric fan mounted in front will help cool at low speeds, but at higher speeds (highway) most of your cooling should come from ram air effect and not the fan. Look at upgrading the primary fan and/or the water pump.

But yes, either of those two fans would help, but if off they could impede air flow as well at higher speeds...

Perhaps someone else has actually done this and has some comments?

Until I saw those fan's prices I was going to say no way. I was about to give you a list of 90's model cars that have skinny fans in front of the condenser to help with airflow, like the 93-96 Century and Ciera, but if a new fan is $30-$35, fuggedabowdit!

I sent a message asking the size on the 2nd one.

When I get the info back I will buy one of them.

Going to put it on the motor side and use as a puller.

Just get a Mark VIII fan, pull the OEM fan, and be done with it. :)
