I have a 1972 gran torino sport that i changed the 351 2v out and put in a 1978 400 engine in out of a 78 mercury marquis. the engine only had 42,000 miles on it and ran perfect in mercury,but now in my torino i cant get it to run good. Idle is ok, but in gear it spits and jumps. I changed carb ,plugs ,timing,ect still no good. Vacume leak? IDK need help?

It is probably a vacuum leak. Maybe if I get a chance I can hop on over to Lawrenceburg and give you a hand figuring it out. If I bring enough beer I might be able to bring my dad. He can figure out anything, as long as he has a beer in his hand.
