Subject: OFFICIAL FREE STUFF THREAD
Date Posted: 15-October-2012 at 2:24PM
I've seen this on other forums, so I thought I'd start one here. We all have stuff that is one step from the garbage can, but know it's probably not worth anything to really try and sell, but yet, still have that nagging feeling about tossing something..

So here goes.

When offering...
-List the name of what you're offering, what condition it's in, and exactly what is included.
-Include everything you have for offer at the time in one post. Please don't spread your items across multiple posts as that makes the thread bigger than necessary.
-Make sure to state in your post if shipping will be covered by you or by the claimer.
-Please be honest about the condition of your item(s). If an item is in terrible condition or if it's almost flawless, please state so.

When claiming...
-If you're interested in an item (or items), send a PM to the offerer and tell them what you're interested in.
-If the person asks that you cover  http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/174200-spreading-the-love-with-free-games-and-more-edicion-cinco/#" rel="nofollow - shipping costs , work it out with the offerer in PMs.
-Although it's not required, it's recommended that you offer something in turn of equal or near-equal value. If the offerer isn't interested, post it here where other people can check it out!

When your item is claimed...
-Make a post  saying that your item (or items) has been claimed. This is important since it keeps the list clean and prevents confusion.

And as a disclaimer, I am not a middleman for any items listed here. I'm only here to maintain the list and I don't want to be held responsible should a deal turn sour.

I'll start.

FREE

Clocks for a 77-79 Cougar/Tbird/Ranchero/LTD II. These are the "date" clocks. One has a broken mounting tab. Neither work with electricity. Both knows are VERY hard to turn. I don't have a dash that uses these clocks, so...

Claimer pays shipping (say $4 for 1 in the US, or $6 for both)

Extra 14 inch tires, size 205/75. Some rot, hold air, great rollers, painters, yard art.

Set of Tan carpeted floor mats for a newer car, decent condition. Fit anything that will swallow them.

Set of LDO Torino blue wheelcovers, fair to good condition, 14 inch. Anyone?

Ranchero roof, great condition, red, zero issues.

Push mower, tuned and ran 2 years ago, non-starting this year. Heaved it across yard in a man fit.

Jeep Wrangler driver seat, horrible looking, but I drove on it 4 years. That is not saying much...

Merry Tiller, won't start, clean, may need engine. Merry no more.

Escort/Tempo?? chrome headlight trim, nice, useless for me.

Don't Do Drugs wall clock, works fine, clashes with my bar...

Assorted table lamps, all work, 80's-90'style, look at home at the Brady Bunch house.

Gas grill, works ok, keeping the bottle. Obviously will need a bottle.

If you want more stuff, I'VE GOT MORE STUFF, LOL! Stop by and I will load you up like Jed Clampett.

Back around '74-'76 Fords and Torinos could be ordered with the LDO (Luxury Decor Option) which consisted of better trim, nicer upholstery, and color-keyed wheelcovers. These were off a Blue Glow '74, and are basically the standard wheelcover with the brushed area painted the body color. Great for a correct restoration, but not my style. Those looking for more bling can SOS pad the blue off and it is polished metal under the paint. Shiny.

I've got some mildly dented 6x9 speaker grills. I hate aftermarket grills. These aren't bad compared to some ugly stuff I've seen.

Pay for the ride and they are yours.

If I had a truck that I could trust getting it out of the driveway DisapproveI would meet halfway. Wife said noCensored to tie them on the roof of her 05 magnum. The truck is a 95 that I use to haul stuff from the house to the dump or scrap yard thing's like that. I need to replace rear axel seal breaks and it needs a new radiator. The parts are here when you are ready. Thanks

More free stuff. This is the front bench seat from the 73 4dr with all the padding but as you can see needs new cover. The headrest are good except for the passenger side has a rip on the end.

My turn.
Act now. Save a piece of Torino history. Turn it into a kid's banister bed. Make a trailer cover out of it.
Torino girl in your life, make a vanity mirror out of this thing.

I need to get this gone. Like SOON.

I've been holding off scrapping it. But it's getting to that point.

I have 3 Ford key blanks, trunk, with large slot in the top....free, will send for cost of mailing.

Seller had a minor mix-up, as I had purchased 3 sets of earlier small-hole style and the ignition blanks he sent were correct but the trunk blanks he sent were not and he is not requiring them to be sent back when he makes the correction so I figured I would pass them along to anyone who can use them.

I have a complete set of Cleveland 2v (1973+-)heads if anyone wants them.  Came off a running motor but should be cleaned up and rebuilt since they have been in the garage for a couple years.  I am in NH and do not to ship though.  I could drive and meet someone a short distance, not more than an hour though.  I have them ready to go to the scrap yard but thought if someone wants them I will pull them out of the truck.

1972 - 1976 Torino doors. Came off a '72 Sportroof, original 2B paint still on them, very straight, have rust. Come get them before I cut them up for sections.

1972 - 1976 Torino trunk lid, very straight, lip rust, original 2B paint still on it. Come get it before it ends up in pieces.

1972 - 1976 Blue Torino steering wheel. Come get it off the column and it is yours.

Upper door section, 2/3's of it left, bottom went to John, rust-free, straight, come get it before it gets cut.

9 inch 1972 axle housing with axles. No chunk, nice. Come get it before CL gets it.

Assorted 1972 - 1976 Torino, Ranchero coil springs. Various rates, complete sets, none sagged noticeably. Come get them before they get scrapped.

1972 rear bumper, nice chrome, was stored in 1975, the shell only, big crease in the center. Nice 1975 school decal on it. Come get it for a core.

Assorted 15 inch and 16 inch tires, all good, come get them before CL gets them.

1974 Gran Torino deluxe wheelcovers, LDO versions in Blue Glow. Come get them before I convert them into garage clocks.

1972 Bumper reinforcement, "U" part that sits below grill, heavy steel. some rust, straight, a hidden part on a completed car. Come get it before I scrap it.

Assorted ignition switches, Torino, Ranchero. Come get them before I figure another use for them.

Assorted other parts I found last weekend that I'd like to donate as well.

Everything is a "Come and get" only. No shipping unless it is a tiny piece that requires no real effort to do, LOL.

Anybody need a owners manual? I was going thru some stuff & came across an extra one that I don't need. It ain't show quality but could serve as a quick reference.  Free, just throw me something for mailing.

You should sell the 2V heads to help with your project, they are still desirable.

I see, they are a unique rare part. I was building a 351C-2V at first, and using M heads to port on. When I went through one port, that's when I could find any C heads any more, in the late 90's. I gave up on the 351 engine and the 400-4V back then, figuring I'd want EFI, and here we are.

Someone will take those 2V heads, they work very well compared to any Windsor head of any year.

I've got a nice, used windshield from a 74-76 2-door Torino, that I was going to use in my Montego wagon.  I ended up just paying a windshield company to install a brand new one.  From what I understand, this windshield will work in any of our 72-79 intermediate Ford or Mercurys.
WILL NOT SHIP.  Located in GA.  Will be coming to Louisville in August for the Street Rod Nationals.  And will be here, in Georgia, for the Moonshine Festival.

Fixed the photo for you.  I am not sure why this happens for you.  It has to be something with the properties of the photo when your phone takes the picture.  Not sure what though. I had the same thing happen to one of my photos I shot with my phone.

I'd be interested in some of the magazines since I collect them.  If you are going to Carlisle, I could just get some off you then to save on shipping.

Acquired some n.o.s. a/c parts from SEK last year so I don't have any use for these. The smaller hi pressure line has the sight glass in it. Looks real good. Don't know if the so called receiver dryer accumulator can be cleaned. Anyhow the a/c was never working as long as I've owned the car. I'm trying to get it sorted out now. Just pay shipping

This radio I had in my car. Played well then one day the left side went out. I called custom audio and they told me what the problem was. A 10 dollar part where the knob goes on. They said it was an easy fix anybody could do. Or send it to them they would fix it for like 40 bucks. While I was talking to them I just ordered the newer radio with more watts. Anyway pay shipping and it's yours.-Rick-

Hello All.

Up for the cost of shipping, the noted Ford service documentation.

Ford Econoline Work shop manuals Volume 1 & Volume 2 for years 2001, 2002, & 2003.

The 2003 set has a matched 2003 Wiring Diagram book also.

Lastly, there is a 2000 Powertrain Control/Emissions Diagnosis OBDII for cars & trucks. This is a pretty good book, and many of the codes remained the same over multiple years.

Thanks, Mike H.
