A problem has just reared its ugly head -  15 to 30 minutes after shutting the engine off on my 70 Cyclone, the headlight doors decide they want to be open instead of closed.
Obviously a vacuum problem somewhere.

Can anyone give me an idea of where to start looking?

Any help will be appreciated.

check the large vacuum tank under the fender for rust holes.

pressurize the system a little, and spray some soapy water on the vac lines.

If all the lines are good and sealed at connections then the dashpots and tank is not leaking, check the vacuum check valve is not leaking down.

Same as the check valve on washer lines to keep the fluid up at the squirters.
