Are they interior or exterior? I'm just wondering, I can't find out anything about them, on my torino the code is MF4 so what can you tell me about this?

A trim code should be a 2 digit code on your data plate. For example, mine is CR which is medium green.

From looking at the 72 Data plate decoder page http://grantorinosport.org/72torino07.htm" rel="nofollow - http://grantorinosport.org/72torino07.htm  It would be my guess that M is for Knitted Vinyl Bucket Option the F is for Ginger color and the 4 I would guess must have been some kind of 2-tone special order option. F is the only interior code listed in this R-M interior colors 72-87 book that I have from back in my days of doing theft repairs. So the only thing I can say for certain is F is for Ginger in 1972 and 73.

Idk if it was redone that way but the interior was blue, but I guess it was because I think the car was blue at one time......will a Marti report tell what that was??

Looking at the pic of your data plate, your color code is 6F which is Gold Glow according to the 72 Decoder link above...
