I can do one better than that.. I tried vise grips on the front caliper hoses and only relied on the rear.. Wet, dry, whatever... they wouldn't lock, It felt like the calipers stopped moving halfway during the pedal travel, and didn't apply anymore.

It was great on teh dyno when I thought they were stopped, put the car in park and heard BRBRBRBRBRRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRCRACK from the parking pawl. Embarrassed

I just may take you up on that..  (gotta decide what mod is 2008 bound, have to do a battery relocation and a stereo install that has been on the back burner for several years, have most of the parts, but time has always been an enemy)

Also have to figure out a stronger rear center section before mine finally breaks.. (31spl trac-loc in a standard case with daytona support)

That and I really need to finally break down and get a MIG so I can stop farming the easy stuff out..

If you end up upgrading the axles too, we could work something out I'm sure Big%20smile. 31 spline would be plenty for me with greasy street tires, even at your power level, I suspect.. Once they break free it's irrelevant anyway.

I realized an Elite I junked a few years ago is still at the junkyard, I need to see if the drum setup is still there, and see what exactly it had.

I have Moser axles so they are staying until I go with FI or nitrous and need the 35 spline jobs.  I just need to upgrade the carrier and locker..  (carrier is on borrowed time and the trac-loc has the life expectancy of a moth)

After Victor intake, Dominator and roller cam.   I want solid mid 10's without juice in a car I drive to the track and drive home on the same tires....

Nitrous would then be a simple plate 100-150 shot to get a Hail Mary 9.99...
