The June 2023 Ride of the Month is longtime GTS Member Shane Folsom's 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport fastback.

Shane recently found this very cool 1972 GTS that is a true barn find.  It was built in Oakville Ontario originally equipped with a Q-code 351CJ, 4-speed, Rallye Equipment Group (which included competition suspension, gauge package, G70-14 tires), 3.25 open diff, Power Steering and Brakes, black vinyl top, rim blow steering wheel, tinted glass, visibility group and magnum 500 wheels.  The car was originally painted medium yellow but has since been repainted black.  The car was also being run on the New England drag way back in the 90s and has a roll bar and hood gauges for racing. 

Shane has been working on the car and got the engine running recently.  He plans to continue the project which will include replacing the roof skin.
