Hey All,

Sending in my seat belt set to get restored/re-webbed hopefully this week. I have a 74 Gran Torino, 2 door hardtop, front split/folding bench seat. Would appreciate if you could take quick look at the pics and let me know if I am missing any pieces?

Also, see the pics of the retractors and some belts that have cracked plastic. Would be curious to know if anyone has these plastic pieces available? My first go to for parts is always going to be John, but curious if folks could dig around to see if they have any of these available. Thanks in advance!

-Mike

It looks complete to me.  Who's doing the seatbelt resto?  Make sure you post the results, it's something I have through about having done.

I look forward to how that turns out. I've also wondered what the differences are from the earlier type of 72/73's, so which type people like better?

@ Vince - These guys are a bit pricey, but have come with great recommendations from multiple sources I have talked to. I'm still waiting on a quote, but I'm assuming it will be anywhere from $700-1,000.

Does anyone know the difference between 74/75 VS. 76?

My belts came out of a 76 with the colored buckles. I'm told 74-75, the buckles are same style except chrome.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct? Or are they the aviator style buckles? I'm aiming to replicate a 75 with my S&H Torino.

difference is in the buckle fitment and the buckle cover 74's were either style! earlier style had a wide black aluminum buckle housing and the later style are like yours ... some black cover by the release button, some brushed chrome
