Interesting but it's too busy on the sides. The painted side moldings made the body color are interesting. They went too far, there's too much going on down the sides, the extra silver lines plus the pin striping. That would be easy to make right for another person though.

what are the side vents from, is that the 1980 Z28 vent?
i cut in a gill from a 1978-79 Z28, not sure if i made a mistake i'll regret or not yet.
i'm also planning other tributes to other muscle cars. i'm sure it'll ad to the Nice El Camino! count

I agree that looks like a Z/28 fender scoop.  I think it kind of works with the Torino if he didn't have all that other extra striping.  Rock's 'Chero looks better with the clean sides and the scoop. At least if it is functional it should help reduce the front end lift at high speed.

Most of the high speed lift is from the front valance under the bumper. That part below the bumper should be reshaped to be a proper air dam, to deflect air up and not down.

I would not own any vehicle that looks that way. And that spoiler, tragic.

Coincidentally, I also just saw a couple of '70s T/As and was thinking the same thing.
