I have a cheap ass one from HF. The exhaust has a filter to keep the vac from sucking the media out. I don't see the purpose of an intake since you are feed compressed air in to begin with. I say use either one for your exhaust and leave the other closed.
BLAST OFF!

OK gents, I have a nutty question for all those with a sand blasting cabinet...The cabinet we got from Jeg's (which is a POS I might add!) has two ports that I'm assuming is an Intake and Exhaust/Vacuum port. The larger of the two is on the back right end of the cabinet and has a chimney on the inside. The smaller port is on the left end of the cabinet and opens directly into the cabinet. Both have a pop off covers to open and close them to the outside.First, is my assumption correct and second, which is intake and which is exhaust?
![]() THANKS!!
