"Franken-Hood" as we refer to it is when you take a 72 Sport Scoop and grapht it on to a NON Scooped 72 hood or ANY other year hood.
You will need the hood section of the skin AND a large piece of the substructure from that scooped hood. The substructure is different for the scoop but lays right in over the outer edges of the substructure of all the other hoods. Only the center section is different. Uante has the best write up and pics of any project that I have seen. His write up with pics is here on his thread on Page 9... Making this a sticky as MANY people ask about how to do this! ANYONE else have how-to write ups and/or pics with info on how to do this mod please feel free to link us to your page with it or repost it here! |
