after 3 new gaskets it still leaks oil i have 351 Windsor(76 Torino )  any ideas welcome my email is jameskoehler2002@yahoo.com both regular and cork gaskets have been tried!!

   Dimple the bolt holes up with a ball peen hammer and a block of wood if stock covers. Done.

how thick is the block of wood and how many strikes?

any piece  like 1x4 or 2x6 lay the wood down on the bench now turn the valve cover upside down so you're looking at the inside where the valves and oil would be, lay the edge by a bolt hole on the wood, hit the hole area with a couple taps of a hammer, making the hole flat againWink do this to each hole! if its a stock steel coverWink don't do this to cast aluminum!

thank you turned out to be power steering hose spraying on valve cover go figure that one new it was leaking but didn't know how much till a year later thanx again

Sure glad that didn't cause a fire!
1972 Gran Torino station wagon, light blue, 351C 2V, prior owner upgraded to 4V (2V heads), originally had a C4 but prior owner changed to C6 for some reason.

it could have thanx for the reply now i  have to try to clean the stain off the fender due to to smoke halfway there  sure looked it was going to be on fire with the amount of smoke
