im lookin at a 70 torino next week , is there another location for the vin other than the dash.
I read theres one under the front drivers fender, but exactly where, and do I need to remove any bolts or flaps to see it ?

there has been some talk on here lately about the vin under the fender, but i'm not sure exactly where it's located??? there may also be a tag on the door most other cars of that era had door tags, not sure if the 70 torino did or not?  good luck on your future purchase!!!  Ive got my fingers crossed.

pull the left front fender and get the vin number off the body tag up near the windshield. (actually there are 2 tags, one on each side the same)

I HAVE HEARD YOU CAN USE A MIRROR TO SEE THIS FROM INSIDE THE WHEEL WELL but i believe you have to pull the plastic splash shield to access the tag.

I don't think the owner will allow me to remove a fender, but maybe the mirror trick will work.
I just want to check that the numbers match at a few locations. Thanks.
Are there any VIN #s in the trunk ?
