A) Father-in-law just had bodywork and paint shot on his 1970 Torino (fastback - non GT). Went back with the original green on it. The guy "cut and buffed it" very nicely.
B) Interior is stock black
C) He wants "shiny mags" (his words) on it.
D) Question #1: What is the backspacing on these Torino's?
E) Question #2: How much tire can fit in the rear of these Torino's? (no wheel tubs)
F) Question #3: He liked the late model Mustang Bullet Mags (but wanted me to find out)
May I ask you guys widome and expertise? What can he fit in this Torino?
1970 Torino 351c-2v. It's the mid year sports coupe. Bone stock.   Trying to get the old girl back on the road

hi
if you put a narrow rear end in it you can go bigger.im running 255/60/8.5 on a 70 torino convert and wagon.but you need narrow rear end or more off set.i did the rear end in my cars.torinos are hard to do big tires because of the body....torinojon

I've had 17" x 8" factory Ford Mustang Bullitt wheels on the rear of my wagon with 235/45R17s on them.  I've also had late model Dodge Charger 17" x 7" wheels with 235/45R17s on it.  The Dodge steelies fit the front too.  Didn't try the Bullitts on the front.  Remember though, the Dodge wheels are lug centric not hub centric like the Ford wheels are.
